A couple of years ago, I was listing online auctions to help my mom out. After a while, the free Web hosting provider that I had been using to include pictures of auction items decided to discontinue remote-loading capability for images. Around this time, BMF and Scoutboy had decided to enter a joint venture with the "rustedmagick.com" domain, and my good friend offered an amount of Web space to me for use with auction listings (which I graciously accepted).

So, time went by, hundreds of listings went up and came down, and eventually, my mom didn't have anything else to sell. Plus, she had started to list items on her own, and so, I no longer required the use of my free Web space. It sat, mostly unused for quite some time (except to store images for forum posts, and such).

Meanwhile, I had noticed during an HDD switch/backup that I had some old sites that I had made and pages that I had saved from back in my early Internet days... so, I thought; "Why not put these up for all to see?" It's all fine and dandy for them to sit on my HDD, and to send bits to friends every now and then, but, if I have the sites, I might as well have them on the Web somewhere!

Believe it or not, this is intended to be a Duke Nukem 3D site, for my old DukeWorld buddies. I'm not even planning to allow it to be listed on search engines at this point, as I would not want to take any chances of adversely affecting BMF's (and Scoutboy's) Web hosting plan. The intended audience is pretty much select individuals from the rustedmagick forums, and perhaps any others from our rag-tag team of DukeWorld Editing/Hacking forum exiles that happen to pop up.

Many site updates are planned, including new sections and features and such, as I adapt my archived contents for Web-readiness. I haven't worked on a site of my own in years, and I think that this will be a lot of fun. Enjoy!
